Niedermaier & Associates Computer Consulting Services has been serving the needs personal users, businesses, both large and small, since 1984. Our founder began building IT systems for friends and family, out of their garage in the suburbs of Lodi, New Jersey. His wife installed newly built systems, and instructed business owners on how to use their new systems and software to minimize paperwork, and maximize their companies productivity. A small business owner in Montclair came across one of their powerful network systems and contacted Ed and his wife Cathy. He explained that his carpet business needed a database and network structure that would facilitate growth with no downtime. The two accepted the challenge and created an advanced system that enabled this business to not only grow exponentially, but created a powerful on line presence and functionality for them as well. They were thrilled with the results, and spread the word. Ed and Cathy then decided that they had an opportunity to help many other businesses facing the same challenge, and Niedermaier & Associates was born. Their fist challenge was creating a powerful infrastructure of their own. Within a year, the staff at Niedermaier & Associates grew in number from 2 to 15. Niedermaier & Associates had now grown to a staff of nearly 30 professionals committed to delivering unparalleled service.
After Ed and Cathy's separation and divorce, Ed took Niedermaier & Associates into a new direction. As a computer scientist, he felt that with the changing trends in computer needs and services, the company needed to be restructured in order to meet the new demands of users. Only through a chance of fate, Ed teamed up with his childhood sweetheart Diana, who not only has 25+ years in corporate Management and Accounting, she has been Director of Finances for several major corporate and non-profit organizations. She has exceptional skills in advanced database creation and design, as well as IS & IT experience. Diana has become the pinnacle point in Niedermaier & Associates' ability to make this transition. While Ed now focuses on the advanced IT platforms and operations, Diana spearheads the companies ability to deliver advanced design and support of IS infrastructures. It is now with Ed and his wife Diana, that Niedermaier & Associates is now able to meet those demands and expectations.
